This knitting board is a great way to be able to knit for those of us that can't get the hang of knitting needles. It is a must-have if you want to make all of those wonderful knit patterns that were out of reach before.

I've had this loom for a couple of months now and really love it. I love the smaller-guage ability and appreciate the fact that it's also adjustable. I started with the Knifty Knitter looms and own their long-loom set, round-loom set, and purple long-loom. As a side note, I do prefer using the Knifty-Knitter loom tool over the one that came with this board but that's probably because I'm used to it. I also have the 10" loom from this company.

Very nice knitting board, but having difficulty in getting the yarn over the small pins....guess will need some different tool to accomplish this. Any suggestions would help...thanks.

This is a great product--it is very simple, you need no experience to use the knitting board and the results are great.

The product needs a little sanding so yarn won't snag. It came with an extra set of long bolts to really configure it in very different widths. It would have been nice to have some instructions, as listed as included, so I could get started.

Natural Knits for Babies & Toddlers Natural Knits for Babies & Toddlers

Was very anxious to get this book as I love to knit. This book has great easy to follow directions. Lots of cute ideas. Recommend for people who like organic products.

I am so excited to get started on a project from this book! It would have been nice to peak inside before purchasing, but I wasn't disappointed. There are several projects I will be making from this book. The patterns look like they are well written and easy to follow. My first project will be the hat and coat on the cover. Very nice!

Love this book- it has multiple patterns that I can't wait to knit. Also thought the knits were different with a great sense of flair! Awesome!

If some of these patterns came in my own size, I'd definitely make a few for myself! Everything is soft, comfy, and hip. My favorite patterns for boys are the "Hemp T-shirt and Combat Pants". They are not at all how it sounds; the pants are styled like sweat pants with little buttoned pockets right under the knee. The T-shirt is raglan-sleeved with buttons along the edge of one raglan seam. My favorite little girl pattern is the "Alpaca Cardigan & Beret". The cardigan is buttoned with two buttons at the top of a button band, making it a modern, almost swing style. The hem is graced with a gorgeous bell ruffle. The "Hemp Swing Dress and Trousers" are just adorable. The great thing about hemp is that it is durable and comfortable, growing even better with time, like your favorite jeans. The sizes range from 0 mos to 3 years, and the patterns include bamboo nursing pads, soy silk diaper liners, and a changing bag and bottle tote (the straps are knit; I would definitely reinforce them on the inside with cording to keep them from stretching out of control). The fibers utilized in this book are: alpaca, bamboo, soy silk, corn (adorable lace pajamas for girls), organic wool, hemp, and organic cotton (adorable baby blanket and matching little doggy with a T-shirt). I can sum this up by saying that with the economy the way it is, I'm much more picky about which books are worth the money. This one is definitely staying in my knitting library! Almost every pattern is a winner. One caveat: substituting yarns is a pain because the yarn weights aren't clearly identified with the CYCA number system. I've really come to rely on that. Also, you have to figure out the yardage for substitutions.

Crochet Scarves!: 16 Hip Projects for Dressing Up Your Look Crochet Scarves!: 16 Hip Projects for Dressing Up Your Look

I originally checked this book out at the library and loved it so much I bought it!! Super easy to read and learn to crochet with. Pictures are excellent for detailing each kind of stitch. Book lays open to keep your hands free. Lots of scarves to choose from to crochet. Great if you want to teach yourself!

This book is the best I've ever seen on easy to understand directions and pictures. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to learn to crochet.

I found some pros and cons with this book. I had some "hopefully it's not just me...but were some of those intructions hard to figure out for you?" moments. Some of the patterns were very unique and fun, and some were things that I didn't care for, however the ones that didn't appeal to me, seemed to outnumber the ones that did. One thing I did really like about this book, is that after every pattern it has a section titled "other yarns to try" and shows how you can vary the look by changing the type of yarn or colors used, I like to do that, and appreciated the pointers. Overall, I was not deeply impressed with this book, but it did yield some crochet projects that I wanted/did try.

I bought this book for the Snow Bunny cable scarf that my daughter wanted. The instructions are brief to the point of being meaningless. Maybe if you already know how to do cable crochet, they make sense, but they are not like the cable crochet instructions I have found on line after being frustrated with the book. Even the beginning seems wrong: she says chain 27 stitches, of which two are for the turn, but then the next row says you have 24 stitches. So it should be chain 26, as far as I can tell. The other patterns may (or may not) be fine, but this was the one I tried.

When I saw this book at Jo-Ann's I had to have it, I used my 50% off coupon and bought it right away. This book has 16 different patterns for scarves, and I can honestly say that I will probably make them all. They are very original patterns. I like that this book incorporates lots of novelty yarns. There is also a pattern that uses the bloom loom, and one that uses the hairpin lace technique...very original. I also like that this book uses a lot of different price points for yarns....there are patterns that use less expensive yarns like the lion brand yarns, and there are patterns that use the pricier yarns like the Classic Elite brands. I also like that with each pattern they will show you alternate color ways, or alternate types of yarns that would work as well. It has really inspired me to try a lot of the neat novelty yarns that are out. I have already made one scarf (and I just bought the book last night), and have the yarns purchased to make 4 more of the scarves. Great Book!
